Men Come First from P.M. P.M. Productions, William (Bill) Perry

Bill Perry started the company Lord Perry (making gay films) in 1974 working for a short time with Norm Arno (Bob Crew) VCX for a few years in those years before. When Bill left he created P.M. Productions and went on to own The Big Top Theater and the Broadway Baths. P.M. Productions film distribution business was not film rentals bujt tin selling 16mm prints of their films to theaters. When 16mm films went by the wayside, Bill went into video production and sales.

P.M. released over fifty films, to become a major East Coast producer of gay porno movies in the late 70's/ early 80's. P.M. films had decent storylines set in New York City, these were among the mainstays of the gay male theater circuit during those years; quality varied, P M employed such directors as Mac Larson (a.k.a. Joe Gage), Arch Brown, the "team" of Francis Ellie, and others.

The men that P.M. featured were the masculine" type, often with facial hair, and good, but not gym, bodies. The emphasis was more on eagerness to perform, and how good their crotches looked, (as opposed to their physiques).

Bill Perry went to prison in the late 1990s and Bill gave his films to Satellite Films owned by Roger and Eddy Mischkin from the 1950s 42nd street porn sellers known as the "sultan of smut".MIshkin has also gone to prison for porn in 1966 for 3 years.

Bill came out of Prison around 2000 died from cancer a few years later.
