A few months ago, an unmanned Chicago Transit Authority Train somehow broke free from its moorings in the yard, passed through two braking systems that should have stopped it, and slammed into a train going in the opposite direction. Thirty-three people were injured, none seriously.
I heard that at one point the train was actually going uphill by itself?!
When I heard this story, Freudian thoughts came to mind, though the long train aka phallus in this case wasn't going through a tunnel.
On a more literal level, I thought of young virile guys having sex on moving trains. A not unusual thought, and it did happen in a porn movie. Peter de Rome in 1972 actually filmed gay sex on a moving New York subway train in his movie Underground.
What is it about sex in and around vehicles, whether mobile or immobile? I heard that in the 1950s, the development of a mobile “car culture” in tandem with a burgeoning “youth culture” seemed to encourage sex in parked cars, a convenient place away from parental control.
Whatever the case, some of the best sex I ever enjoyed (in my younger days) occurred in van parked near Lake Michigan on a steamy night during a thunderstorm. The orgasm happened so quickly and gloriously; the van (not the earth) probably moved as well.
Enough of my sex life. I want to know if anyone has ever done it on a moving train.
